There are CHICKENS in my refrigerator!!

My mother brought home some real live chickens today! Well, she says they are just eggs but they smell like chickens to me! I smelled them over and over and they are CHICKENS! I've never even met a chicken, but something tells me that's what they are!

She said a lady at work gave them to her. The lady's Daddy has chickens that lay eggs and she brought some eggs to the people at work today. Mom put them in the refrigerator and I WANT THEM! See right here Mom ... they're in there!

They do not smell like the eggs she buys at the grocery store. They are chickens! I can't bite them ... or I know I'm not suppose to. See they're right here .... snif snif.

I know they're in there!

I want them and I am going to wait right here for them!

Copper,

What's a chicken? It must be good by the way you are guarding that refrigerator!

wait until they sprout feathers and can run! They're much funner to chase, and way tastier.

Are chickens like turkeys? What about an ostrich? I think you should get an ostrich egg - it would be a meal in itself. You'd probably have to pass on the ostrich itself though.

I had an omelet last night for dinner- have your mom make omelets for you 'cause they are really yummy. On the other paw, I had a grilled chicken breast for dinner tonight and it was really good, too. If you would rather have grilled chicken, just sit on the eggs for awhile and the eggs will turn into chickens. I saw it happen on TV, really! It's true- kewl, huh?

Dachsies, I don't know what a chicken is but it smells realy interesting.

Meeska, you've tasted real chickens? Wow, you ARE my hero!

Zach, one of these eggs is really big? Maybe it is an ostrich egg??

Isabella, I will talk to my Mom about it. I never get peepol food. Maybe she'd let me have an omelet.

If you guard the fridge for long enough - you are bound to have success !

Copper, you should ask your mom's coworker to bring you a real live baby chick!! I think you would have a lot of fun with a baby chicken brother or sister.
