California is a warm and wonderful place. Mona and Hana and I did a little sightseeing today and Hana showed me the redwood trees. What big trees they have here! My Mom will be so jealous, she's always wanted to see the redwood trees. It was fun. I tinkled at the bottom of this one. He he he he!
Hana has been a wonderful hostess but it is time to leave now and continue on my journey. I must go rescue Hershey at the North Pole where he is in elf training.
But I have done some thinking..... Mona has this suitcase full of sweaters and socks that her mother made her bring along on her trip and Hana told me that sometimes it gets cold in California. I wonder if it gets cold at the North Pole???? If it is cold there, then it might snow. If it snows, I am not going to be able to walk very well up at the North Pole because my legs are very short. Mona's are too. Us dacshunds have short legs.
So I have decided to go see my friend Meeshka and ask her about the snow. She is a huskie and everyone knows that huskies pull sleds in the snow. I hear she loves snow. Maybe Meeshka will go with me to the North Pole and help me find Hershey in the snow.
Otherwise, we'll look like this.
So I am headed to Meeshka's house to see her. Hana and Mona are going with me and Hana is driving. She has her own red car. Talk to you soon.

Copper,
the Mommy called & said we better get Meishka's advise before we get to the North Pole because with our short little legs if the snow is too deep we'd disappear until the snow melts...do the snow ever melt in the North Pole?
the Mommy loved the movie Eight Below and she is afraid we will be in the North Pole lost like those doggies were. I told her not to worry because Sprinf is about to be Sprong and we were sure we'd be OK...I think before we leave I'm gonna go buy us some snowshoes...I gots da Mommy's credit card...ya know the old saying "don't leave homwe without.
I'm so excited...me has never played in snow.
Night Night...Mona
Me neither Mona and I am scared. I don't think I will like the snow. I may need to borrow some of your sweaters because I didn't bring any. Tell you Mom we will not get lost. I did not see that movie ... maybe I won't watch it now or I will get scared.
But, they rescued most the doggies in Eight Below! That's good, isn't it?
I don't have many quarters for the car ride. Do you have any quarters, Mona and Copper? I wonder how far these few quarters will get us.eskie friends who pull sleds! Maybe they can help us in the North Pole with transporting us in all the deep snow!
Yikes! My comment did not come out correctly. Let me try part of it again...
I have eskie friends who pull sleds! Maybe they can help us in the North Pole with transporting us in all the deep snow. Plus, maybe they are friends with the polar bears.

Copper,
We gonna be fine and me scared but confident. There is safety in numbers and Hana is going with us.
In 8 below all but 2 made it through OK because they had each other and worked together as a team.
The three of us are all strong & young, I gots lots of quarters, lots of sweaters & socks for all of us, I bought us all snowshoes.
The only problem is when we get back & that's when the Mommy gets HER Credit Card Bill. I may have to run away from home & come live with you & plan our next adventure start a new adventure. We will save Hershey & that's what's important right now.
We gonna be brave....right?
Mona
You tinkled on the bottom of that big tree??? You are so lucky!
We had snow here and it wasn't so bad. Maybe you will only get snow like we had.
