I am a 5 year old black and tan long haired dachshund. I like to keep my Mom company wherever she goes, bark at people who walk past my house, go on short slow sniffy walks and ...visit my best friend Hershey, who now lives far away.

copper, i'll try to bring a rake but i don't know if mom or dad will let me. mom says that your mom has a rake, maybe we can rake leaves together!
My mom taught me to play dead. First she would tell me to do "down", then she would say "play dead" and push me on my side and then hold me in that position for a few seconds, then give me a treat. Of course, I would always try to resist being held down, but for a treat, it's acceptable. That's how I learned it. Now I play dead when she puts a treat in front of my nose, and she doesn't even have to give any commands!! I can read her mind and I will play dead even if she doesn't say one word!
wowie! wut a smart dog! he knows almost all the tricks that i know! but he izzent as smart as me becuz he does tricks without any treats. i dont do tricks unless there is a cookie in in for me. that makes me smarter! tee hee!
