The American Kennel Club published a list of the top 10 most popular breeds of dogs and dachshunds are #7 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yippee! Go check it out and see if you made the list !!!!

I am a 5 year old black and tan long haired dachshund. I like to keep my Mom company wherever she goes, bark at people who walk past my house, go on short slow sniffy walks and ...visit my best friend Hershey, who now lives far away.

Yeh...we's heard the same thing and the Mommy is so proud of us but she says she already knew we was always special...it just took the rest of the world to figure it out. Is Hershey ever going to blog again?

We agree with Lorenza; we should be #1. As long as we are #1 in Mom's book, that is all that really matters to us.

Wow, #7. That is great. I am a cat, so I did not make the list. Do you like cats? I like dogs.....but I have not posted a dachshund on my animal blog yet. I hope to meet one some day!
