I got a bath today. I tried my best to hide under the dining room table but she got me. It was a long bath. Mom said my ears were greasy looking. After the bath was over (at last) Mom took pictures of me. Ugh ....the indignity of it all! Here I am ..... for all the world to see ... naakkedd and wet.
Here I am trying to dry myself off. Mom never gets me completely dry. Do you do this?
The GOOD ....
I got to go on a walk tonight. It was a long one too. Yea!

Wet & nekkied - I bet that's gonna appear in a lot of google searches (hits) and you have new visitors coming by your blog. Erm Copper, aren't we naked most of the time? hehehe... I don't mind taking a shower (I do that weekly in fact), i just hate the drying process!! Mom points this GUN at me and I'll twist and turn around until she gives me a greenie to settle down. Once I get a greenie, I let her point that gun any way she wants.
You get to go out for a walk right after you have a shower?? Mom does it the other way, I get to go for a long walk (get dirty) and I need to shower when I get back.
I hope that I don't get another bath soon - I'm grey again already. Mom said I only stayed white for one day. I do the rolling thing to get dry too. Do you get water in your ears and shake them?
Oh Copper, you got a clever way to dry yourself. The long walkie is a pretty good trade off for the bath yes?

hi , its me, sophie the doxeranian and i feel so bad for you,you poor thing! i hate to have a bath too! i do the same thing you do, when i get out of the bath and my mom opens the door to let me out - i run downstairs to the dining room carpet and i rub myself all over it - if i could only get outside i would rub myself in dirt or something worse. it takes hours for me to dry and i hate it! (even though my mom gives me treats when i am done.)
I hate getting a bath...but I shake lots and lots and get everyone all wet. My little payback!
Lots of love,
Rosco
My dogness, Copper! I am so sorry you had a bath! But what a clever way to dry off. I usually choose to lie down and air dry. No Walks afterwards. My people say "catch a cold" and "roll in something"; I am not sure what they mean!
Best,
Tansy
P.S. A lovely "action" photograph!
